Since 2008

Founded by therapists who wanted more time with patients

Physiora started as a single treatment room and a belief that physical therapy works better when it's unhurried, personal, and measured. Eighteen years later, that's still the whole model.

Our story

Built around one idea: give the visit back its full hour

Dr. Elena Ford, DPT, opened Physiora in 2008 after years of working in high-volume clinics where therapists were treating three patients an hour. She believed recovery needed more attention than that — real hands-on time, real conversation, and a plan built from an actual evaluation instead of a generic protocol handed to every patient with the same diagnosis.

Today Physiora is a team of seven doctors of physical therapy across one Frisco location, still holding to the same rule: one therapist, one patient, a private treatment bay, for the whole visit.

What guides us

Four commitments that don't change

I

One therapist, start to finish

You're matched with a doctor of physical therapy for your entire plan of care — not whoever's free that day.

II

Everything gets measured

Range of motion, strength and function are re-tested on a schedule, so progress is a number, not a feeling.

III

Plans have an end date

We tell you an expected visit count up front and adjust it based on real data, not open-ended appointments.

IV

Straightforward billing

We verify your insurance before your first visit so there are no surprises on the bill.
